The Band / Rock of Ages (Sealed) (Sold Out)
Capitol Records SABB-11045 (1972)(US) Original issue Sealed Double Record. Recorded on New Year's Eve 1971/1972, this was the Band's
last gig for a year and a half. Allen Toussaint was brought in again to write horn arrangements for many of their classics. The results
were inspired. Highlights are many, but of particular note are a cover of Marvin Gaye's "Baby Don't Do It" and a live recording of
a track that had earlier been relegated to B-side status only, "Get Up Jake".
The brand new Records and Gatefold Cover (promo hole in top corner) are in excellent (Mint/Mint-) condition...$30.00 (Sold 08/10)

The Band / Moondog Matinee
Capitol Records SW-11214 (1973)(US) Original issue Record (with original wrap-around style heavy paper poster). The Band essentially
went back to being the Hawks of the late '50s and early '60s on this album of cover tunes. They demonstrated considerable expertise on
their versions of rock & roll and R&B standards like Clarence “Frogman” Henry’s “Ain't Got No Home,” Chuck Berry’s “The Promised Land,”
and Fats Domino’s “I'm Ready”. The Record (w/Purple label) and Cover are in excellent (Mint-) condition.
The Poster Cover is also in great shape with no tack-holes or taped corners...$25.00
