Tyrannosaurus Rex / A Beard of Stars (Promo)
Blue Thumb Records BTS-8818 (1970)(US) Promotional issue Record on U.S. vinyl. There is a big and obvious change to Tyrannosaurus Rex
on their fourth album "A Beard of Stars", as Steve Took was replaced by Mickey Finn, with Marc Bolan remaining the true captain of the
duo act as singer and songwriter. Of more significance was the change in the band's sound, moving into far more electric rock territory
with much greater use of electric guitar, though Bolan's songs were still often grounded in the fairytale-like musings of his earlier work.
The Record and Gatefold Cover (Promo hole in top right) are in great (Very Good++) condition...$25.00

T. Rex / Electric Warrior
Reprise Records RS-6466 (1971)(US) Reissue Record on U.S. vinyl. The album that essentially kick-started the U.K. glam rock craze,
"Electric Warrior" completes T. Rex's transformation from hippie folk-rockers into flamboyant avatars of trashy rock & roll. There are
a few vestiges of those early days remaining in the acoustic-driven ballads, but "Electric Warrior" spends most of its time in a swinging,
hip-shaking groove powered by Marc Bolan's warm electric guitar. Includes the T. Rex classics Jeepster and Bang A Gong (Get It On).
The Record (brown label with "Warner Communications Co.") and Gatefold Cover (no barcode) are in excellent (Mint-) condition...$25.00

T. Rex / The Slider
Reprise Records MS-2095 (1972)(US) Reissue Record on U.S. vinyl. "The Slider" basicly replicates all the virtues of "Electric Warrior",
crammed with effortless hooks and trashy fun. All of Marc Bolan's signatures are here mystical folk-tinged ballads, overt sexual come-ons
crooned over sleazy, bopping boogies, loopy nonsense poetry and as always, a mastery of the three-minute pop song form.
The Record (brown label with "Warner Communications Co.") and Gatefold Cover (no barcode) are in excellent (Mint-) condition...$25.00

T. Rex / Tanx (with Poster)(Promo) (Sold Out)
Reprise Records MS-2132 (1973)(US) Rare Promotional Record on U.S. vinyl. "Tanx" did not contain any instantly recognizable hits, but
tracks such as "Rapids," "Highway Knees," "The Street & Babe Shadow," and "Born to Boogie" contain the expected classic T. Rex sound.
The leadoff track, "Tenement Lady," is an interesting Beatlesque epic, while "Shock Rock" criticizes the early-'70s glam scene,
which T. Rex played a prominent role in creating. "Tanx" marked the close of what many consider T. Rex's golden era.
The Record (white promo label) and Gatefold Cover (Promo sticker) are in nice (Very Good+/ Very Good++) condition...$40.00 (SOLD 03/12)
(Includes original limited edition poster in near perfect condition)
